28th November 1957: Sam leaps into the body of Tyler ‘T’ Means, an eighty-two year-old gunslinger in the Wild West town of Coffin, Arizona – and right in the middle of a gunfight! However, to Sam’s relief he and his opponents are merely re-enacting T’s legendary shoot-out with the infamous Claggett Brothers, as part of the town’s tourist attraction. After meeting T’s daughter, a widowed waitress named Lucy, and her son Stevie, Sam learns from Al that the gunslinger’s tall tales will eventually turn him from local hero into the town joke. Joining Lucy at the saloon Sam is introduced to Ben Steiner, a Hollywood producer who wants to use T’s story for the pilot of a new Western television series for NBC. Sam changes history by accepting the offer – but his excitement is short-lived, as Tyler’s former partner, Pat Knight, rides into town looking for revenge, and promptly challenges Sam to a shoot-out…
